THE LOST JUKEBOX CD SERIES

The Lost Jukebox series collects together literally thousands of great tracks released in the 60's and early 70's which never received their due when they first came out. None of the tracks ever dented the U.S. Top 40, and precious few even reached Billboard's Hot 100 or Bubbling Under charts. There are only so many spaces on the charts; these are ones that for whatever reason fell through the cracks. But it wasn't for lack of quality; a lot of the tracks here are better than a lot of those that DID chart!

When this series was initially being put together the focus was largely on pop/rock and soft pop, but the scope of the series is much broader than that, including just about every genre/style of popular music in that groundbreaking era. You can sample for yourself on the SOUND BYTES page, which has mp3 excerpts of a selection of songs from various volumes in the series.

As well as the regular LOST JUKEBOX CD's, there are special BEST OF... discs - a 6-CD set with three subsequent single disc collections cherry picking the best of the best from the regular LOST JUKEBOX discs!
